A good example is the nicely designed minimal book for the promotion of the elegantly depicted adiPURE boot. Designed by 1977 DESIGN, an independent design studio, based in London, UK.
Earlier last week, Real Madrid launched their new official home kit for the 2013/14 season.
On this new kit appears the new shirt sponsorship logo of the Dubai-based airline, Emirates, who struck a five year deal to replace previous sponsor Bwin.
Real Madrid now shares shirt sponsorship with Arsenal, Milan, Hamburg, Paris Saint-Germain, Olympiakos, and in a few days, the New York Cosmos. See related article: Pelé announces Emirates deal.
I like the color details in the colar and sleeves. I don’t know to much about the type yet, but when I find out I’ll be sure to post about it. What are your thoughts!?
Crystal Palace defeated Watford (1-0) in the Championship play-off final at Wembley to secure a place in the English Premier League next season.
With this new promotion the team decided to update it’s identity. Several new fan designed looks were presented to public vote last year. Dan Mulcahy’s design was chosen and developed by the club’s in-house designer, Robert Deacon.
Club co-chairman Steve Parish says, âThe new badge has been designed to be able to be used in different ways. The crest will be seen with a shield in a âcoat of arms formatâ around the stadium, without a shield on the club kit, on training wear and in the media, as well as a simplified version for some casual clothing and merchandise.â
He adds, âThis new design will re-produce much better than the old line drawing, and features a stronger more dynamic eagle that brings our club image into the 21st Century.â

Vasava design studio located in Barcelona, Spain designed the custom typography for FCB’s official kits that the team has be wearing throughout the current 2012 – 2013 season. Simple, clean design was used create the elegant, multilingual French e-commerce website Le Coq Sportif.
The 'new' PSG under QSI (Qatar Sports Investments) has revealed their new visual identity, which will be featured on the 2013-14 season kits.
The new logo is a simple, clean, modern design with a clear visual hierarchy that emphasizes the word "Paris" rather than Paris Saint-Germain. It also deviates from the dark blue to a lighter (Marseille like) blue.
Some fans are disappointed with the new look claiming it deviates from it's heritage. Paris Saint-Germain director Leonardo has defended the clubâs decision.
The Brazilian said, âWe have not decided to change the club logo because we donât comply with history. PSG has already changed five times, [some] big clubs [have] changed 10 times."
âI think the misconception comes from the money and the power that we have. I am here for the history of this club.â
âThe respect [for the history] is there,â the World Cup winner told LâEquipe.
For the second time in Fifa world Cup history, Brazil will be the host nation. Last time the country hosted the tournament was in 1950. It is scheduled to be the first World Cup to be held in South America since the 1978 FIFA World Cup in Argentina.

The 2014 logo is a tribute to the well known Fifa World Cup trophy created by three hands coming together. The green and yellow colors correspond to the colors of the Brazilian flag. The logo definitely has a Brazilian feel to it and captures the essence of the tournament, being friendly, warm, and inviting. To learn more visit Official Emblem.

London is currently showcasing the great spirit of the Olympics, but where it all started was with the creation of a simple logo.
The next summer Olympics will be held in Rio de Janeiro.
I love the new logo for the event, it is friendly, approchable, playful, energetic, and at the same time depicts unity.

The new illustrative logo for the 2012 UEFA Euro Cup, which was inspired by âwycinankaâ, a Ukrainian form of paper cutting. The logo also includes the colors of the co-host nations, Poland (red and white), and Ukraine (yellow and blue).
