Footy Design has been moved to a new host. This is a great move, because this means the URL will simply be footydesign.com and more formatting / design options will also be available. The downside is that I will lose all my subscribers 😦

What are you doing this weekend? if you’re not sure … remember to promise less and deliver more!

A good example is the nicely designed minimal book for the promotion of the elegantly depicted adiPURE boot. Designed by 1977 DESIGN, an independent design studio, based in London, UK.

Earlier last week, Real Madrid launched their new official home kit for the 2013/14 season.
On this new kit appears the new shirt sponsorship logo of the Dubai-based airline, Emirates, who struck a five year deal to replace previous sponsor Bwin.

Real Madrid now shares shirt sponsorship with Arsenal, Milan, Hamburg, Paris Saint-Germain, Olympiakos, and in a few days, the New York Cosmos. See related article: Pelé announces Emirates deal.

I like the color details in the colar and sleeves. I don’t know to much about the type yet, but when I find out I’ll be sure to post about it. What are your thoughts!?

A few little typos, but a very nice little info-graphic design about the rules of offside.

One of the big debates in recent month has been the topic of goal-line technology. “The FA and the Premier League announced that as of next season, goal-line technology (GLT) will be available for use in every Premier League game, as well as FA Cup games played at Wembley and Premier League grounds.” See big soccer article

Will similar technologies ever be used to determine offside positions? What do you think?

Here are a few shots of the football pitches I play on in NYC. I took these with my iPhone 4S, retouched them with the Afterlight app, and uploaded them to Instagram. To follow me on instagram search keef89, although my intagram does not only pertain to football(soccer).
